Description

Trackman is a sports technology company developing high-precision tracking systems. The Computer Vision Engineer role involves working on sensor integration, algorithm design, and production engineering for golf launch monitors. The position is suitable for early-career engineers with a strong academic background.

Responsibilities

Evaluate next-generation camera sensors, optical setups, and custom illumination; diagnose hardware/software interface edge cases (e.g., latency, frame drops, synchronization)
Develop, tune, and profile real-time 2D/3D vision tracking and calibration algorithms capable of handling all kinds of challenging cases
Write clean, testable C++ and Python code. Maintain, refactor, and harden existing production codebases to ensure long-term stability and high uptime
Analyze real-world datasets collected across challenging environments to identify vulnerabilities, eliminate subtle tracking bugs, and continuously raise tracking accuracy
Partner with hardware, firmware, and QA teams to translate ambiguous physical challenges into reliable, deployable software solutions

Requirements

Recent MSc/PhD graduate or early-career engineer with approximately 0–3 years of experience in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related field
Hands-on experience with computer vision, sensors, image processing
Strong interest in camera sensors, calibration, 3D geometry, feature tracking, or image-processing pipelines
Experience in software engineering through professional research, or substantial university projects
Strong academic or practical skills in C++ and/or Python and care about writing efficient, structured, and maintainable code
