Description

The Global Study Manager will lead the delivery of clinical studies across all phases, coordinating internal teams and external vendors. Based in Barcelona, the role combines strategic planning, budget management and oversight of study documentation. The position operates in a hybrid model with three days onsite and two days remote.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee vendor strategies to meet study timelines
Manage data, procurement, regulatory and patient safety functions
Coordinate internal and external meetings including investigator sessions
Support study lead with budget management and invoice reconciliation
Create and maintain global study management plans and related documents
Lead less‑complex studies and oversee study close‑out activities
Conduct lessons‑learned exercises to improve processes

Requirements

More than five years of clinical research experience
At least three years leading global clinical trials
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proactive attitude with strong relationship‑building abilities
