Description

Graduate Construction Project Manager role within AECOM's Project Management teams across the UK and Ireland. The position supports senior project managers on projects across education, healthcare, sports facilities, residential and transport sectors for both public and private clients. It spans all stages from initial concept through construction and operation, acting as the interface between client, design team, consultants and contractors. AECOM offers a structured early careers training programme, chartership support and a flexible hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

Regular liaison with all relevant project parties
Procurement
Liaising with and assisting Senior and Associate Project Managers
Contact administration
Data management
Coordinating the project team
Planning key tasks
Reporting on progress and cost
Site visits and meetings
Working at all stages of the project from initial concept through to construction and operation of the building
Acting as a key interface between the client, design team, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders
Ensuring actions are carried out by the appropriate parties at the right times to meet deadlines and add value to clients' projects

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (min 2:1 or equivalent) in Project Management, Construction Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering is essential
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Effective decision-making and ability to build relationships and rapport with project stakeholders
Good organisation skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Proactive, driven and motivated approach to work and creating success
Ability to work in a team of diverse individuals to meet common objectives
Commitment to delivering excellent service to clients and meeting deadlines set by clients and managers
Master's degree in project management or construction management and relevant work experience would be an advantage
RICS accreditation preferred
