Description

Graduate full stack engineering role in the Global Shipping team inside an ecommerce company's growing German engineering hub near Berlin. The team builds shipping experiences used by millions of individual sellers and small businesses worldwide. You will design and deliver scalable full stack solutions, building backend services with Java and Spring Boot and frontend applications with React.js, reporting to an Engineering Manager. The team is collaborative, transparent and highly technical, valuing curiosity and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver scalable, secure and maintainable full stack solutions supporting shipping experiences
Translate product requirements into cross-component technical solutions and implementation plans
Build and enhance backend services using Java and Spring Boot
Develop frontend applications using React.js or similar frameworks
Collaborate with product managers and engineering partners to deliver high-quality features
Improve software quality through clean documented code, code reviews and unit, integration and end-to-end testing
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues
Contribute to technical planning by breaking work into milestones and providing implementation estimates

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Recent graduates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, graduating between summer 2025 and 2026
Experience with or familiarity with Java and Spring Boot for backend application development
Experience with or familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
Proficiency working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
Understanding of modern frontend frameworks such as React.js
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile practices and unit, integration and end-to-end testing
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
Experience with Kotlin and Prometheus Query Language is a plus

Conditions

Work from the Dreilinden office near Berlin an average of three days per week
