Description
UL Solutions is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of a global customer-facing digital platform for Retail & Consumer Products. The role involves hybrid work based in Warsaw or Barcelona, with responsibilities including project management, SDLC oversight, and stakeholder interaction.
Responsibilities
Develop, modify, and execute Software/Technology/IT Programs with global company-wide reach.
Deliver all projects within budget and schedule while meeting strategic and business requirements.
Track key project milestones and recommend adjustments to leadership.
Understand Software Development Life Cycle with basic technical knowledge.
Plan the overall program, monitor progress, and follow internal project lifecycle processes.
Provide leadership and support to one or more project teams.
Act as front-line contact for program-related activities, issues, and risks.
Manage risks and issues and take corrective measurements.
Interact regularly with senior management on programs with significant scope and budget.
Interface with C-Suite Executives, develop financial measures, and manage supplier relationships.
Define program governance and coordinate project interdependencies.
Manage and utilize resources across projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred in MBA or Computer Science.
Over ten years of project management experience with large-scale, distributed projects.
Experience developing and submitting business cases for major capital investments.
Experience with cross geographical project coordination and management.
Experience with developing RFI/RFP and scoring mechanisms.
PMP and/or Agile certifications preferred but not required.
Demonstrated leadership ability, technical and business acumen.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with executive level reporting experience.
Proven ability to build and lead integrated teams across multiple sites.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial skills.
Ability to innovate under changing conditions and promote innovative ideas.
Conditions
Hybrid working model: 3 days in the office, 2 from home.
Salary range: PLN 140,000 to 170,000 based on skills and experience.
Annual bonus with target payout of 10% of base salary.
