Description

Novanta is seeking a Junior Hardware Engineer for their Robotics and Automation unit in Barcelona. The engineer will develop electronics for motion control products, focusing on stepper motors, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This entry-level role requires experience with Altium Designer and industrial communication protocols.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain hardware for R A products, focusing on stepper motors
Design and redesign electronic circuits, including schematic and layout
Conduct circuit analysis and optimization
Hands-on hardware board bring-up and debugging
Improve internal and external documentation
Define Test and Verification Plans with QA team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers

Requirements

MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 1 year experience in electronic circuit design
Experience with PCB/PCA manufacturing processes
Altium Designer proven experience
Fluent Spanish and English

Conditions
