An automotive and logistics company is hiring a Lead Product Manager for its Lot Operations Modernization team, focused on transforming how vehicles move across its auction network. The role combines end-to-end discovery, strategy and roadmap ownership, with responsibility for building business cases, defining KPIs and mentoring other product managers. It is a hybrid position based in Atlanta, GA, requiring about 5% travel and US work authorization without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
Own one or more interconnected problem areas in Lot Operations Modernization, from labor visibility to vehicle move efficiency
Lead discovery efforts end-to-end, conducting research and engaging field users
Translate validated problems into specifications and resolve ambiguity the team cannot clear
Help define a 6-9 month roadmap for assigned product areas
Build business cases and investment documents to secure funding and inform prioritization
Define and monitor KPIs using Pendo, operational data and field research
Partner with Solution Delivery Managers, engineering, UX and data/analytics leads to prototype and validate solutions
Mentor other Product Managers and potentially carry 1-2 direct reports
Represent the product area in PI planning and Inspect/Adapt events
Champion AI-accelerated discovery, experimentation and development across the team
Collaborate with other Product Managers on the release train to align problem areas to strategy
Share learnings openly and contribute to a discovery culture of transparency and continuous improvement
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field with 6 years of experience, or a master's degree with 4 years, or a PhD with 1 year, or 18 years of experience without a degree
Proven track record of leading discovery independently and turning it into a fundable business case
Skilled at managing multiple priorities and translating ambiguous, operationally complex problems into clear requirements
Experience evaluating emerging technology for product fit
Experience coaching or mentoring other product managers
Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodology and PI planning
High integrity, skilled in building partnerships and focusing the team on execution
Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
Preferred: experience in automotive, wholesale operations, logistics or supply chain technology
Preferred: familiarity with Rally or comparable ALM tooling and analytics tools such as Pendo, Power BI, Tableau or Snowflake
Preferred: track record of driving AI-related initiatives or tooling adoption at team level
Conditions
Hybrid work option with the ability to work remotely part of the week
Travel required about 5% of the time

Base salary range of $111,500.00 - $185,900.00, with possible incentive program
