Description

The position involves conducting performance, load, and stress tests on web applications using modern tools like Lighthouse and Dynatrace. Responsibilities include identifying bottlenecks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines. The role requires 2–4 years of experience, ideally in banking or financial services, with strong knowledge of performance testing tools and web technologies.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular performance, load, and stress tests on web applications to ensure compliance with defined SLAs.
Analyze frontend performance using modern tools such as Lighthouse, WebPageTest, Dynatrace, and browser developer tools.
Identify performance bottlenecks across frontend, APIs, and infrastructure; recommend and implement improvements.
Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and business stakeholders to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Document test strategies, scenarios, and results with clear, tailored reporting for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Champion a performance-first culture by coaching teams and embedding performance testing early in development lifecycles.
Monitor production environments using real-user monitoring (RUM) and synthetic testing solutions.
Proactively identify risks and potential degradations in application performance.
Support troubleshooting of performance-related incidents across multiple system layers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in performance testing, ideally in banking or financial services.
Strong knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, k6.
Experience with frontend monitoring frameworks and developer tools.
Proficiency in scripting and test automation using JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
Familiarity with CI/CD environments like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular.
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques such as lazy loading, caching, CDN, and minification.
Understanding of backend/API dependencies and their impact on frontend performance.
Familiarity with cloud and containerized environments like Docker, Kubernetes.
Excellent communication and reporting skills for engaging with technical and business stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international context.
Experience in the banking sector or secure, regulated environments.
Exposure to synthetic monitoring and observability solutions (e.g., New Relic, AppDynamics, Elastic APM).
Knowledge of accessibility, security, and compliance standards for frontend applications.
