Description
Product Portfolio Manager role at Forbo Eurocol, a global market leader in linoleum with over 65% market share. The position sits at the intersection of customer needs, market trends, and the organisation, with responsibility for developing the product portfolio strategy across the Netherlands and Germany. The role involves analysing market developments, translating customer insights into strategic portfolio decisions, and driving innovation and growth within the Business Unit.
Responsibilities
Develop and oversee the portfolio strategy across the Business Unit in the Netherlands and Germany
Harmonise product ranges across the Netherlands and Germany
Prioritise innovations and growth opportunities, and develop portfolio roadmaps and innovation plans
Lead the development of a focused yet powerful portfolio
Analyse market developments, trends and customer needs
Identify new segments, applications and growth opportunities
Translate customer insights into portfolio and positioning decisions
Develop business cases for investments and innovations including revenue, margins, pricing and product profitability analysis
Advise on investment priorities and price positioning
Support management in strategic decision-making
Connect Sales, Product Management, Marketing and R&D across the two locations
Build support for portfolio and investment decisions across the Business Unit
Lead decision-making processes within the Business Unit
Act as a strategic sounding board for management and the executive team
Requirements
Bachelor's degree-level education or higher, or equivalent professional and intellectual capability
Experience in Portfolio Management, Business Development, Product Management and/or Strategy
Experience in developing business cases, pricing and commercial analysis
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach
Experience working with international stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
Good command of Dutch or German, as well as English
