Description

The role is for a Project Manager focusing on green building and sustainability certification. It involves leading sustainable building projects across Portugal and internationally, managing certifications like LEED and BREEAM.

Responsibilities

Lead and support delivery of green building, sustainability and certification projects
Manage and coordinate LEED, BREEAM, WELL certification processes
Provide technical advice on sustainable building design and energy efficiency
Review architectural and technical design proposals for sustainability improvements
Coordinate sustainability requirements across multidisciplinary teams
Prepare and review technical reports, assessments, and certification documentation
Plan and monitor project programmes, budgets, and client expectations
Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Support clients in establishing sustainability targets
Keep up to date with sustainability regulations and standards
Support business development and proposals
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members
Travel as required for project delivery

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in the built environment and/or sustainability-related fields
2+ years of relevant experience managing sustainability certifications, with strong experience in LEED and/or WELL
Active LEED AP certification, or commitment to obtain LEED AP, WELL AP within 3 months
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability or related discipline
Experience working with multidisciplinary design and construction teams
Fluency in Portuguese and English
Good understanding of the Portuguese and/or wider European construction and sustainability market
Willingness to travel within Portugal and internationally
