Description

A global data analytics and technology company is hiring a Project Manager for its professional services team, delivering software implementations for insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and MGAs across the London Market and global specialty insurance sector. The role owns project delivery from planning through successful implementation, working closely with clients, technical teams, product specialists, and senior stakeholders. It covers scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and governance, with a strong focus on client relationships and continuous improvement. The position suits someone who leads cross-functional teams and delivers complex technology projects that create real business value.

Responsibilities

Lead the successful delivery of software implementation projects on time and within budget
Create and maintain project plans, managing scope, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies across the project lifecycle
Work closely with clients to define project requirements, establish delivery plans, and drive successful outcomes
Coordinate with consultants, product specialists, developers, and other delivery teams to keep projects on track
Manage project governance, reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder communications
Identify and remove delivery risks, issues, and blockers before they impact project success
Oversee testing, client acceptance activities, project sign-offs, and transition into operational support
Manage change requests and project controls while maintaining strong client relationships
Provide clear project status updates to client and internal stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery practices and processes

Requirements

Experience managing software delivery projects within a technology, software, or SaaS environment
Demonstrated success delivering projects to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to build trusted client relationships
Commercial awareness and ability to balance client satisfaction with successful project outcomes
Structured approach to project management and governance
Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
Experience using project management tools and Microsoft Office, including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment
