Description
The QA Engineer will establish and maintain testing processes for the internal CRM system used in credit and insurance intermediation. Responsibilities include functional, regression and acceptance testing, test case creation, bug tracking in Azure DevOps and data verification in MS SQL Server. The role will evolve to include automation, API testing and participation in release criteria definition. Work can be performed on‑site in Warsaw or remotely under a hybrid model.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute functional, regression and acceptance tests for the CRM system
Create and maintain test cases, scenarios and test data sets
Document and track bugs in Azure DevOps with retests after fixes
Verify data directly in MS SQL Server database for accuracy
Test business logic especially in loan applications and commission settlements
Gradually build automated regression tests and integrate them into CI pipeline
Collaborate with development team, helpdesk and business units on testing activities
Participate in defining release and acceptance criteria for new features
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience testing web applications
Fluent Polish and English at B2 level for meetings with international teams
Independent creation of test cases and scenarios, not only execution of predefined tests
Strong SQL knowledge for data verification, including SELECT and JOIN statements
Precise and repeatable bug reporting with detailed steps, expected and actual results
Experience with Azure DevOps for bug and test management, including retests
Analytical thinking and willingness to learn credit and insurance business processes
Familiarity with Playwright or Selenium for test automation in C#
Experience with API testing using Postman or REST
Basic CI/CD knowledge, preferably Azure Pipelines
Understanding of GDPR compliance for anonymized test data
Knowledge of performance and load testing basics
ISTQB Foundation Level certification (preferred)
