Description

Sage is hiring a QA Engineer for their HCM Localisation team in Barcelona. This hybrid role focuses on ensuring quality for an enterprise HR and payroll platform through manual testing, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Analyse requirements and acceptance criteria to define test coverage
Design and execute test cases for new features and regression
Raise and track defects with clear evidence
Contribute to automated regression suites and maintain reliability
Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA colleagues on quality risks

Requirements

2+ years of QA experience in software product delivery
Hands-on experience with manual testing and automation
Experience with test management tools like Jira, TestRail
Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress
Familiarity with API testing concepts and tools
Strong attention to detail and methodical approach
Clear communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Self-driven and organised in a distributed Agile team
Fluency in English
