Description

QA Lead role at Almedia, focusing on owning quality end-to-end and bridging product and engineering. The position involves developing modern QA strategies, introducing AI-enabled testing, and ensuring fast shipping without compromising user experience in a high-intensity office environment.

Responsibilities

Own quality across the entire product lifecycle from design to production
Develop and execute a modern QA strategy balancing manual testing and automation
Introduce AI-powered tools and workflows to improve testing efficiency
Build and maintain end-to-end automated test suites
Decide where manual exploratory testing delivers the highest value
Partner closely with Product and Engineering to identify risks early

Requirements

Strong experience owning software quality in modern product teams
Experience balancing manual testing, automation and production monitoring
Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated tests with Playwright
Solid understanding of modern QA practices, CI/CD pipelines and release management
Experience introducing AI tools or AI-assisted workflows into testing
Strong communication skills to influence Product and Engineering teams
