Description

Scan Tech General Trading LLC is hiring a QA Engineer (Manual and Automation) to own quality across the EGARAGI platform, covering web, iOS, Android, admin panel, vendor panel, and APIs. The role involves manual and automated testing, defect investigation, test plan creation, and ensuring release readiness. Candidates should have 3-5+ years of QA experience, strong English proficiency, and be able to work on-site in Dubai.

Responsibilities

Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, admin, vendor panels, and APIs
Write and maintain test plans, test cases, scenarios, and regression suites
Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, and UAT testing
Conduct full regression testing before each production release and produce release readiness reports
Perform API testing using Postman or Swagger, validating authentication, error responses, and payloads
Validate analytics and tracking events in Firebase, GA4, and similar tools
Test third‑party integrations, including payment and messaging providers
Identify basic security and authorization issues and conduct performance testing
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for critical user journeys
Manage defects throughout their lifecycle in Jira, from reporting to closure
Collaborate with product, development, DevOps, and design teams

Requirements

Strong knowledge of web fundamentals, HTTP methods, status codes, and cookies
Ability to investigate defects using browser developer tools, device logs, and API responses
Experience designing test cases covering edge cases, boundary values, and permission combinations
Proficiency in writing precise defect reports with steps, severity, priority, and screenshots
Manual testing expertise for web, iOS, Android, admin and vendor panels, and APIs
Automation testing experience using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium
API testing skills with Postman or Swagger, including authentication and pagination
Database testing using SQL to verify data consistency
Basic performance and security testing knowledge
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test execution integration
3–5+ years of software quality assurance experience
Professional working proficiency in English; Arabic preferred
