Description

The Senior Business Architect will shape and govern the future-state architecture of Master Data Management at DSV. The role bridges strategy, business processes, data governance and technology to deliver scalable solutions. It involves close collaboration with global business and technology stakeholders throughout the transformation journey.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain future‑state business architecture for MDM capabilities and processes
Translate strategy into capability maps, target operating models and architecture roadmaps
Identify gaps, dependencies, risks and opportunities for standardisation and automation
Lead complex discovery, fit‑gap and design workshops with global stakeholders
Act as liaison between business objectives, architecture design and solution delivery
Ensure alignment between MDM, finance transformation, enterprise architecture and IT
Lead business analysis activities including requirements gathering and functional specifications
Support governance forums and provide decision‑ready architecture recommendations
Assist project teams through design, implementation, testing and hypercare phases
Contribute to architecture standards, principles and reusable design patterns

Requirements

Proven experience as Business Architect or similar senior role
Strong experience designing business capabilities, operating models and governance frameworks
Hands‑on experience with business analysis methodologies, requirements engineering and process modelling
Experience in large‑scale transformation programs across multiple countries and functions
Knowledge of Master Data Management, Data Governance, SAP MDG or SAP ERP
Understanding of process architecture, TOGAF, Lean, Six Sigma or BPM methodologies
Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders
