Description

Portuguese company iTRTech Group hires a Senior DevOps Engineer to design automate and improve secure highly available cloud platforms. Focus areas include AWS infrastructure Terraform Kubernetes Docker CI/CD automation and DevSecOps practices in a global cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

Design provision and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS
Apply Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform with reusable modules
Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes environments for microservices
Ensure cloud platforms meet availability security scalability and performance requirements
Automate integration and deployment with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
Package and deploy applications with Helm and manage artifact repositories
Configure and maintain monitoring logging and alerting solutions including Datadog
Troubleshoot infrastructure networking deployment and production issues
Mentor development teams in DevOps tools processes and practices
Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies including planning and retrospectives

Requirements

At least five years as Software DevOps or Platform Engineer
Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
Advanced practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
Practical knowledge of Helm and Argo CD with GitOps practices
Experience with Istio or comparable service mesh technologies
Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills with Bash scripting
Strong Python scripting skills
Experience with SQL databases and SSL/TLS certificate management
Experience with JFrog or comparable artifact repositories
Experience configuring monitoring and logging solutions
Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
Fluent English

Conditions

Hybrid work model with office attendance once per month in Lisbon or Porto
B2B contract with rate between 3700 and 4000 EUR
Only candidates currently based in Portugal will be considered
French or additional language is valued but not mandatory
