Description

SRN Mechanical Services LLC is looking for a Senior HSSE Engineer / HSSE Manager to lead health, safety, security and environment activities across its engineering and manufacturing operations. The role demands extensive industrial experience, NEBOSH certification and expertise in ISO standards and UAE HSE regulations. The manager will develop and maintain the HSSE management system, conduct inspections, audits and training, and ensure compliance on site and project locations. The position is based in Dubai, UAE.

Responsibilities

Manage and continuously improve SRN’s HSSE management system across all operations
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits and incident investigations on factory and project sites
Develop and deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, emergency drills and HSSE training sessions
Ensure compliance with statutory, ISO and client safety requirements throughout the organization
Coordinate closely with production, engineering, QA/QC and project teams to integrate safety into daily activities
Monitor corrective actions, track non‑conformances and drive continuous safety performance improvements
Lead risk assessment activities and maintain comprehensive permit‑to‑work procedures

Requirements

Minimum ten years of industrial experience in HSSE or related fields
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Valid NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) as a mandatory requirement
Strong hands‑on experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards
Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, JSA/JHA, method statements and permit‑to‑work processes
Experience in incident investigation, safety inspections, audits and corrective action management
Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and client‑specific safety requirements
