Description

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Localisation Quality Engineer to drive quality and localisation readiness across the PlayStation product portfolio. The role combines software engineering, automation, and early‑stage design review to identify localisation risks before implementation. You will collaborate with design, engineering, product and localisation teams to build tools, processes and AI‑driven solutions that improve workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

Partner with designers and product teams to identify localisation risks early in the design phase
Review Figma prototypes and design systems for scalability and localisation readiness
Develop and maintain automation tools, scripts and AI‑driven agents for quality validation
Build reusable services and integrate quality checks into CI/CD pipelines
Lead complex localisation quality initiatives and provide mentorship to the localisation team
Define and enforce localisation quality standards throughout the product lifecycle
Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of software engineering or quality engineering experience
Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript or Java
Hands‑on experience building automation tools and integrations
Proven ability to work with Figma design systems and review design files
Deep understanding of localisation and internationalisation principles
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, JIRA and Confluence
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
