Description

Belvedere is seeking a Senior QA Engineer for a 6-month contract in Warsaw. The role involves building automated test frameworks, leading testing strategies across APIs and web applications, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines. You will work with modern tools like Java, Selenium, and Playwright in a global team.

Responsibilities

Develop automated test frameworks using TestNG and Cucumber; Build and maintain test suites with Selenium and Playwright; Test APIs, databases, and web applications; Implement unit, sanity, and regression testing strategies; Manage test cases using ALM and Jira Xray; Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps; Collaborate using Git; Influence technical direction and quality standards; Communicate testing outcomes and quality metrics; Support developer enablement; Work across global distributed teams.

Requirements

8-10 years of experience in automation testing; Strong proficiency in Java 17+; Experience with TestNG and Cucumber; Hands-on expertise with Selenium and Playwright; Experience testing APIs, databases, and web applications; Knowledge of ALM and Jira Xray; Strong understanding of unit, sanity, and regression testing; Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps); Proficiency with Git; Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; Ability to influence technical direction; Passion for quality engineering; Experience with global distributed teams. Desirable: Docker, cloud platforms (Azure/GCP), observability tools like Grafana.
