Description

Schwarz Digits is hiring a Senior QA Engineer to own quality assurance throughout the lifecycle of the software development team. The role sits in a fully agile squad environment, where you define test suites, maintain test sets and drive automation, especially e2e tests, while shaping QA processes and quality metrics. It calls for 3+ years of QA experience, BDD knowledge and hands-on automation skills in Python and CI environments. The position is based in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

Responsibilities

Be involved throughout the lifecycle of the software development team with responsibility for quality assurance
Work in a completely agile environment and closely with multidisciplinary teams
Ensure the quality of your squad's products and verify that defined processes are applied with the highest quality
Enhance the current Quality Assurance processes
Work in a squad team and get involved in the entire development process
Create the test suite for the product
Create, update and maintain the test set covering the squad's products
Help engineers create, update and maintain automation tests, especially e2e tests
Provide QA metrics for your squad to contribute to the data-driven culture
Collaborate closely with squad members
Generate and spread a culture of quality throughout the squad and domain
Build software that tests software by coding

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
Knowledge of BDD strategy
Proven experience in FrontEnd Mobile or Web testing
Experience in API testing
Experience with Cucumber Studio
Programming experience in Python
Proven experience using BDD frameworks
Experience in non-functional testing
Experience in CI environments (VSTS)
Proven experience in quality flows
Proven experience in software testing
Proven experience working with agile development practices
Programming experience in any language: Python, C#, Java, C++, etc.
