Description

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior React Native Developer to contribute to cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and modern tools like Expo. The role requires hybrid work in Polish offices and involves collaboration with designers, backend developers, and QA to deliver seamless user experiences on iOS and Android.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
Build, configure, and optimize application workflows using Expo and EAS
Implement and manage application state using modern state management libraries
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end
Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical planning
Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks

Requirements

5+ years of commercial experience with React Native
Strong hands-on experience with Expo ecosystem and EAS for builds and submissions
Solid understanding of state management patterns with Redux, Zustand, Jotai
Practical experience with RTK Query and/or TanStack Query for server state management
Proficiency in TypeScript
Understanding of mobile app lifecycle, navigation patterns, platform-specific nuances for iOS/Android
Familiarity with REST APIs and integration patterns
Experience with Git-based workflows
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with B2 level of English
