Description

The role is for a Senior Software Test Engineer at Humanoid, focusing on testing software products for humanoid robots, including console, inference infrastructure, and backend services. Responsibilities

Own the quality of the humanoid operator console, including front-end behavior, API contracts, and user-facing flows
Test the inference servers and model-serving stack for latency, throughput, failover, and version rollouts
Validate backend services and their APIs, including auth, data pipelines, telemetry, and fleet management
Design and implement automated test suites that run in CI/CD
Define test methods, quality criteria, and metrics
Document tests in test tracking system and keep internal documentation accurate

Requirements

4+ years in software testing, with strong experience testing client-server systems
Strong grasp of testing theory and test design techniques
Hands-on Python for test automation
Familiarity with an API testing framework (pytest + requests, or equivalent)
Comfortable operating in Linux environments
Experience with Git
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Experience with a test management or task tracking system (Jira, TestRail, or similar)
