Description

A digital design and development agency partnering with B2B SaaS, healthcare and fintech companies is hiring a senior web designer who can own projects end to end, from brief and creative direction through design system, execution and developer handoff. The role spans project-based engagements and long-term client accounts, with an increasing focus on AI-assisted workflows and platform-agnostic work. It suits an independent senior designer who thinks about the business goal behind every brief and holds a high standard of craft.

Responsibilities

Own web design on projects from kickoff to launch: concept and direction, design system, execution, developer handoff and design QA on the build
Deliver production-ready work at a consistently high standard with clean design systems and consistent typography
Interpret briefs critically, define the right level of complexity for each client and develop original directions from research and references
Manage scope and time on your own work and flag early when either is at risk
Present to clients and defend design decisions with clear reasoning
Collaborate with developers on feasibility and review builds against your designs before launch
Use AI tools throughout the process, from research and discovery synthesis to reference gathering, concept exploration and early copy
Contribute to the design system, standards and knowledge sharing across the team

Requirements

5+ years designing marketing websites, with at least 2 years in an agency or multi-client environment
Portfolio of shipped B2B or SaaS websites you can speak to in terms of brief, constraints and improvements
Figma at a systems level: variables, local styles, auto layout, component architecture and naming conventions ready for developer handoff
Working understanding of Webflow, enough to design for it, know its limits and review a build against your file
Demonstrated, current use of AI in a real design workflow (Claude, Flora, Midjourney or equivalents)
Confident presenting to clients and comfortable with pushback in both directions
Strong on estimates and timelines, and a proactive communicator when they are at risk
Excellent English, C1 minimum
Able to work within EST hours
Comfortable working autonomously with clear direction and support from the Head of Design
Operates at a senior level and can own a project's design outcome independently; the role is not suitable for junior or mid-level candidates
