Description

Align Technology seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Test for the Clinical OPS Services team to improve the quality of existing solutions and test innovative products. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional, multi‑regional teams and working with Python, C++, cloud and database technologies. You will design and execute manual and automated testing strategies, supporting continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Ensure quality and reliability of software products across business‑critical projects
Work with cloud‑based and desktop applications built using Python or C++
Design, implement and execute manual and automated testing strategies
Collaborate intensively with project managers, product owners, developers, DevOps engineers and other QA professionals
Utilize and support the technology stack including AWS, Power BI and various databases
Maintain clear documentation of test plans, test cases and test results
Proactively identify risks and issues and work with stakeholders to resolve them early
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes and tools

Requirements

5+ years as a Software Engineer in Test or SQA Engineer
Proficiency in Python programming
Knowledge of QA approaches and practices
Experience with Software Development Life Cycle frameworks and methodologies
Basic knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
