Description

Doctolib is hiring a Staff Mobile Engineer with deep React Native expertise to join the Patient domain team. The role focuses on transforming the Doctolib mobile app into a full AI-powered health companion. The tech environment features a cloud-native modular platform with distributed architecture, built alongside Rails, TypeScript, Java, Python, and Kotlin. The position is permanent, full-time, hybrid in Paris, France.

Responsibilities

Establish and evolve mobile architecture patterns and technical standards for the patient domain
Drive technical excellence across mobile development, ensuring high code quality and best practices
Contribute to the technical roadmap and guide architectural decisions for the mobile platform
Mentor and support mobile engineers in implementing robust, scalable solutions
Lead by example in building features that enhance user experience and app performance
Work on transforming the Doctolib mobile app into a full health companion powered by AI

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience building high-usage mobile applications, ideally in B2C environments
Deep expertise in React Native and mobile development best practices
Track record of establishing technical standards and improving code quality at scale
Product-oriented mindset with ability to guide teammates on tradeoffs balancing business needs with technical constraints
Strong technical leadership and ability to guide teams through complex technical challenges
Fluent in English
Experience working in healthcare or other regulated industries (nice to have)
Contributions to open-source mobile projects or mobile developer communities (nice to have)
Experience with native iOS or Android development alongside React Native (nice to have)
