Описание

Staff/Lead Product Designer to build the company's design system from scratch. The mission is to turn a loose set of fast-shipped products into a real system: a Figma library, token architecture, well-documented components in code and adoption by default across teams. The role is hands-on and opinionated — co-designing with frontend engineers in their repo, setting the craft bar across the domain, and putting AI tools to work on documentation, variants and migrations. Permanent hybrid position based in Espoo, Finland.

Обязанности

Start with a Figma library and written playbook, then grow token architecture and documented components in code
Decide what is a token and what is a local decision, balancing flexibility and consistency
Co-design components with frontend engineers in code, read PRs and prototype in a branch
Sell the design system repeatedly to product managers, engineers and leadership, run office hours
Set and hold the craft bar across the whole domain at the pixel level
Put AI to actual work on component documentation, variant generation, token maintenance and migration codemods
Stay accountable for adoption, consistency, shipped UI quality and how quickly teams can build
Work across a networked organisation: designers in other domains, brand and marketing, sales engineers, customers

Требования

Built a design system from 0-to-1 in a messy, uncommitted organisation
Fluent enough in code: reading React and CSS, understanding component APIs, opening PRs
Able to influence without authority across teams with their own roadmaps and deadlines
Exceptional craft: layout systems, typography, colour and visual hierarchy in dense professional interfaces
Real point of view and hands-on practice with AI in design work
Owned UX end-to-end for complex professional products, expert in Figma

Условия

Permanent employment with hybrid workplace model, 3 days per week in office
Continuous professional development and training opportunities
Benefits designed to support health and wellbeing at work and beyond
