Description

The employer is an AI-native operating system for creative businesses, serving 11 million users since 2022 and backed by ~$50M in funding. The Brand & Social Lead owns what the company is like, how it makes people feel, and how it shows up for small business founders, working alongside a design lead who owns visual identity. The role combines writing, brand activations, campaigns and awareness building inside a conversion-led marketing organization. It is a hybrid position based in Berlin.

Responsibilities

Define and codify the brand voice and tone, writing manifestos, campaign copy, landing pages and launch narratives as the standard
Dream up and lead brand activations, stunts and campaigns from concept through delivery
Represent brand thinking in leadership and strategy conversations, pushing back where decisions threaten brand consistency
Find and pitch unconventional ways to build awareness through partnerships, community moments and founder-facing events
Bring bold ad concepts to growth and performance marketing and know how to make them convert, not just turn heads
Guide teams early in briefs and reviews so tone and ambition are right from the start, not fixed after
Audit messaging and presence across website, landing pages, ad and video scripts, campaign concepts and brand activations

Requirements

You have a gift for language and notice when a sentence is doing real work versus just filling space
You get restless with safe ideas and would rather pitch a bold activation than another banner ad
You think about audience obsessively, knowing where founders actually are and how to show up there
You notice the details everyone else scrolled past, from landing page headlines to overlooked touchpoints
You are both creative and strategic, generating bold ideas while holding the line on brand consistency
5+ years of hands-on experience with sharp instincts, not yet coasting on a title
You have done this in-house, ideally agency first, then owning brand at a small company
You know how to move from a wild idea to something that actually ships
You have picked the channel, not just written the words: activations, partnerships, events, community
You are comfortable being the lone brand voice in a growth-led organization
Background in FMCG, DTC, or consumer goods brands is a strong plus
Social media or community-building experience is a plus

Conditions

Real ownership: you own what you ship, end to end
Work at the edge of AI, design and commerce
30 vacation days a year, plus public holidays
Hybrid working style: 3 days a week in the office, the rest of the week from home
Work from anywhere in the world for up to 50 days (10 weeks) a year
Enrolment in a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan with a share in company growth
Daily chef-prepared meals in the office
Monthly BVG ticket, fully covered
Urban Sports Club M membership
Annual learning and development budget for professional growth
Online group German classes at every level
Quarterly hackathons to experiment with new ideas and push boundaries
Annual gathering week for the global team to work, celebrate and get inspired
