The number of checks depends on your plan; see the pricing page. If a check fails because of an error, the attempt is refunded.

PDF and DOCX up to 2 MB. A scan without a text layer will not work: we read the text of the resume.

Software companies use to receive applications. It splits a resume into fields and looks for words from the job. Unusual headings or missing keywords can stop a resume before it reaches a recruiter.

The file is stored encrypted. A recruiter sees it when you apply to a job on the site, and so do visitors of your profile card if you publish one.
