Description

A leading global professional services company is hiring a Business Analyst / Architect Lead Senior Manager for the Intelligent Operations FS Program, a multi-year banking modernization initiative delivering a complex systems integration solution. The role bridges business and technology, owning business and functional requirements end-to-end from client elicitation through to UAT sign-off, with architectural grounding across workstreams such as KYC, Estates, CEP, RPA and reporting. Delivery combines onshore client-facing execution with an offshore factory model across ServiceNow, Blue Prism and SiSense platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead business requirements gathering and BRD authoring across assigned workstreams (KYC, Estates, CEP) with client functional and operational stakeholders
Define and own functional labels and process-to-solution traceability; produce functional design specifications for AI-assisted development
Hold and enforce BA scope boundaries for business and functional requirements and UAT sign-off; coordinate with technical architects on To-Be design
Run structured workshops and discovery sessions in English with client business stakeholders, translating French or Dutch outputs into English-language delivery artefacts
Participate in stage-gate reviews, CAB governance and quality checkpoints; provide functional sign-off at each gate before build proceeds
Identify scope gaps, assumption risks and dependency conflicts early; escalate with documentation to Delivery Lead and PMO
Support test strategy and UAT execution — reviewing test cases against functional specs, coordinating client SME involvement and signing off on test outcomes
Contribute to program-level architecture decisions on integration data flows, platform constraints and cross-workstream consistency

Requirements

Minimum 8 years in business analysis or functional architecture, with at least 4 years on systems integration programs in a consulting or delivery environment
Deep understanding of retail and commercial banking operations — KYC/AML processes, client lifecycle, estates and inheritance handling, complaints and core banking workflows
Proven track record of delivering BRDs, functional specs and process designs on fixed-milestone SI engagements with stage-gate delivery models and freeze protocols
Experience working in dual-shore delivery models, bridging onshore client teams and offshore factories
Strong stakeholder management across client-side functional leads, offshore delivery teams and exec sponsors within a complex governance structure
ServiceNow platform familiarity — particularly FSO, CSM or workflow-based implementations in a banking context
Exposure to regulatory-driven workstreams (KYC/AML, GDPR, MiFID) within EU banking environments
Experience with AI-assisted delivery models using tools to accelerate requirements, design or test generation with human sign-off gates
Architecture certification (TOGAF, ArchiMate) or equivalent applied experience
Fluent in French and/or Dutch (written and spoken) is a plus
Operates with authority through influence and holds functional boundaries under commercial pressure
Comfortable in ambiguity and brings structure to complex multi-stakeholder scope definition exercises
Detail-oriented without losing sight of delivery momentum and knows when a requirement needs a decision
Politically astute — reads room dynamics between client-side and SI-side teams and adapts communication
Plain communicator producing concise fact-led artefacts suited to exec and working-level audiences

Conditions

Hybrid work model supported by technology and facilities
Primary location: Spain flexible
Travel 25-30% may be required to program locations for stakeholder workshops, governance, milestone events and client relationship management
Collaboration with offshore teams and vendors across time zones — flexibility required
Medical, Life, and Accident Insurance
Medical service and wellness programs
Flexible compensation program and stock purchase
Flexibility programs for schedules, days off and vacations
Individualized training itinerary
Sustainability programs and corporate foundation
Employee network for diversity
Bankinter office with special conditions and profit sharing
