Description

A leading European used-car dealer with more than 2,000 premium vehicles is hiring a full-stack developer in Berlin. You will build modern web applications across the entire stack, from React frontend to scalable backend services, taking responsibility for architecture, CI/CD and stable production operation. The role also covers introducing AI features, optimizing development processes and mentoring within the team.

Responsibilities

Development and further development of web applications with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js and NestJS
Contributing to scalable architectures, microservices and microfrontends
Development of REST APIs, data models as well as authentication and authorization concepts
Ensuring software quality through code reviews, automated tests and performance optimization
Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, Docker deployments and monitoring
Integration of suitable AI features and automation of development processes
Close collaboration with Product Owner, UX/UI and CTO as well as technical mentoring within the team

Requirements

At least 5 years of full-stack experience and a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
Very good knowledge of React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js and NestJS
Experience with REST APIs, SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
Solid command of Git, Docker and CI/CD processes
Experience with scalable architectures, clean code and automated testing
Analytical, self-directed working style, teamwork and enjoyment of knowledge sharing
Experience with Scrum or Kanban and German and English at least at B2 level
Plus: GraphQL, MongoDB, TypeORM or Prisma, GitLab CI/CD, Linux, cloud infrastructures and AI/LLM integrations, ideally in the automotive or retail environment
