Description

An international group is hiring Full-Stack Engineers for a brand-new engineering team in Barcelona that turns prototypes into production software automating professional-services work across roughly fifteen countries. Each engineer owns a product end to end together with a Product Owner, working AI-native with coding agents, strict testing and shared architecture standards. Four junior seats and one senior seat are open, with a four-round hiring process ending in a practical take-home project.

Responsibilities

Take over a documented, hardened product and make it your own, getting oriented with context files and code search
Keep the product evolving by deciding with the Product Owner what to ship next
Design solutions and shape the architecture instead of typing implementation all day
Start something new from the portfolio of products as new ones arrive regularly
Turn a business need into a specification precise enough that agents build the right thing
Decide the architecture and hold its shape across the codebase for years
Judge agent-generated output for correctness and catch the subtle errors only a domain expert sees
Own production incidents and decide whether to roll back when something breaks
Mentor whoever joins after you and disagree with the Product Owner when a feature is a bad idea

Requirements

Has owned a product or project and can talk through the decisions made, including mistakes
Comfortable across both the front end and the back end of a web application
Strong TypeScript, or proficiency in another language if that has been the stack
Tests properly with unit tests and end-to-end or smoke tests against the real running application
Uses coding agents in daily work and reads their output like a colleague's code
Can pick up a codebase written by someone else and explain it before changing it
Fluent English as the working language, working across roughly fifteen countries
Junior seats: able to build a working web application from front to back
Junior seats: has used coding agents seriously enough to have opinions on where they break
Junior seats: wants to get good at AI-assisted engineering faster than a normal job allows

Conditions

On-site work in Barcelona with the team sitting together, especially in its first year
No on-call rota, pager or phone number; anything broken at the weekend is fixed on Monday morning
You own your product's incidents during working hours, with support part of owning the thing
Every engineer gets a Claude Max subscription and a desktop orchestrator running several coding agents in parallel
A certificate awarded after two to three years covering the architecture and the agentic build method
Anyone can propose a change to the shared stack and standards, with a researched reasoned answer
Spanish is genuinely useful day to day, while Catalan is not required
