Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and working with technical teams to deliver reporting or system changes
Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) and validating changes against agreed requirements
Ability to understand and explain reporting logic, data flows, metadata and system interactions
Clear communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with experience managing competing requests and meeting deadlines
A proactive approach: spotting issues and opportunities, suggesting practical improvements and taking ownership of agreed actions through to completion
Curiosity about how systems and processes work, a creative approach to problem-solving, enthusiasm for new technology, and a drive to improve data quality
Confident using SQL to query, join and aggregate data, and Excel to reconcile and validate outputs using formulas and pivot tables
Experience in a systems, reporting, data or similarly technical analyst role
Experience with Alteryx or comparable data workflow tools, training can be provided
