Decathlon is hiring a Product Manager for the Categories squad within its E-Commerce Solutions domain, based in Paris. The role owns product vision, strategy and roadmap for Categories & Core Navigation, partnering with a dedicated engineering team, UX researchers, designers, data analysts and country e-commerce teams. Responsibilities
Define product vision, strategy and roadmap for the Categories & Core Navigation ecosystem
Steer and arbitrate key product initiatives: Core Navigation standardization and SKU-level categorization engines such as Tesseract
Align stakeholders across central sports teams, global digital merchandising and country teams around shared operating models
Identify ongoing user, SEO and business opportunities through data analysis, user testing and card-sorting studies
Establish a consistent AB testing process to refine business convictions and identify growth opportunities
Balance global standardization with local market flexibility, ensuring smooth migration of local trees to global Core Trees
Define decision frameworks and clear SLAs for global taxonomy, SEO governance and category creation
Drive agile delivery in close partnership with the Tech Lead and squad developers
Prioritize and refine the backlog of epics and user stories supporting multi-level exports, batch orchestration tools and taxonomic rule execution
Supervise key migration milestones for countries adopting the Core Navigation framework on desktop and mobile
Define and track navigation success metrics: PDP Reach Rate, Revenue per Session, Menu CTR and Category Conversion
Use data analysis to optimize category performance, remove inactive categories and rationalize taxonomic filters
Act as an ambassador of product excellence and taxonomy standards across Decathlon's international network
Requirements
3 to 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a B2C e-commerce, digital platform or catalogue/search ecosystem
Excellent understanding of e-commerce navigation, catalogue hierarchies, taxonomy/data structures and search & discovery platforms
Proven ability to align complex international multi-functional organizations: tech teams, merchandisers, country e-commerce leads
Mastery of the end-to-end product development cycle — from discovery (UX research, data, A/B testing) to delivery (backlog refinement, technical roadmap, rollout)
Data-driven mindset to prioritize features and measure impact on conversion and user experience
Fluent English and French, oral and written, with excellent synthesis skills
Curiosity for solving large-scale data and architecture problems and user-centric design
