Description

A French cybersecurity software editor providing secure remote access solutions is creating a Product Manager / Product Owner position within its product team, reporting to the Product Director. The role covers the full product value chain from design to production, including agile facilitation of the team and continuous delivery optimization. In a small tech company, the position combines the roles of Product Owner, Product Designer and agile facilitator.

Responsibilities

Identify user needs from customers, partners, support and R&D and turn them into product opportunities
Design features using a user-centric UX/UI approach
Produce or drive functional mockups such as wireframes and prototypes
Challenge functional and technical choices together with the teams
Integrate generative AI tools to accelerate user research and needs synthesis
Use AI tools for rapid mockup creation, ideation and specification writing
Build and drive the product roadmap
Write and maintain a clear prioritized backlog with user stories and acceptance criteria
Define priorities in line with business, technical and regulatory stakes
Participate in trade-offs together with the management
Consolidate the release plan and estimates
Organize and facilitate agile rituals: daily meetings, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
Act as a facilitator between product, development teams and stakeholders
Remove operational blockers and streamline communication between everyone involved
Adapt agile practices to the reality of a small company with pragmatism and short circuits
Contribute to spreading a product and agile culture within the company
Track the progress of developments and guarantee functional quality of deliveries
Drive the validation and acceptance phases of releases
Collaborate with technical teams in a co-construction logic
Use AI tools to improve productivity in test case writing and functional checks
Assist documentation work with AI tools
Perform technological, competitive and regulatory monitoring
Track developments and standards such as ANSSI, ENISA and NIST
Identify innovation opportunities around AI in cybersecurity and new architectures

Requirements

Bac+5 degree (Engineer, Business School or University)
Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or product ownership
Indispensable experience in a software or IT environment
Good understanding of technical environments: operating systems, enterprise networks, IT architectures
Excellent product design skills covering UX and functional design
Mastery of agile methods with the ability to adapt them
Ability to facilitate multidisciplinary teams
Strong communication and synthesis skills
Organization, rigor and analytical mindset
