Description

The role focuses on ensuring software quality according to business and technical requirements. It involves conducting manual tests to detect defects before product deployment, verifying user-reported bugs across system versions, and maintaining test documentation. The candidate will also support and develop the QA process by introducing best practices, testing tools and test process automation. The position is based in Warsaw with a hybrid 4/1 model after the probationary period.

Responsibilities

Ensuring software quality in accordance with business and technical requirements
Conducting manual tests to detect defects before product deployment
Supporting the software development process through continuous analysis of the quality of delivered solutions
Active collaboration throughout the entire product lifecycle
Verifying user-reported errors: confirming defects, checking bugs in test environments, identifying software versions, verifying errors in other system versions
Overseeing and developing the software QA process by implementing best practices, testing tools, optimizations and automation of test processes
Creating, updating and maintaining test documentation (test scenarios, test cases, test reports)

Requirements

Higher technical education (preferred: computer science, telecommunications, electronics or related fields)
Professional experience in a testing environment related to a physical product (software, hardware)
Knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes
Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
Knowledge of testing tools such as Azure DevOps (nice to have)
Experience working with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code (nice to have)
