Description

The company designs and sells payment solutions that simplify everyday business for merchants and retailers of all sizes, both in point of sale and online. The QA Engineer will join the Technology and Operations team to ensure the quality of mobile and web applications and coordinate their release across platforms. The role spans automated and manual testing, defect tracking and app store publication processes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and execute automated and manual tests for Android and iOS mobile applications and web applications
Identify, document and track quality issues and work with developers to resolve these issues before release
Prepare applications for publication, including managing configurations, signatures and necessary optimizations
Coordinate app store submission processes, including managing platform-specific requirements
Monitor user feedback and post-launch performance to identify improvement opportunities
Collaborate closely with development, product and design teams to integrate testing from the earliest development phases

Requirements

Degree in computer science such as a Master in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance with proven specialization in mobile and web application testing
Solid understanding of QA methodologies including functional, regression, load, performance and integration testing
Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress for web and mobile applications
Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or others for developing test scripts
Good command of bug tracking and project management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla or Trello
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
Experience with the release process on Google Play Store and Apple App Store is a plus
Attention to detail and rigor in following processes
Excellent written and oral communication skills to clearly document defects and communicate with development and product teams
Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with developers, product managers and other stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
Mastery of French and English, both spoken and written
