Description

Terabase Energy develops Construct, a B2B SaaS construction management and quality control platform for utility-scale solar projects. The QA Engineer joins the Construct team reporting to the QA Manager, owning quality end-to-end across the web platform and mobile app. The role combines manual and automated testing, first-line support triage, and daily collaboration with US-based engineering teams and external partners in Belgrade.

Responsibilities

Design and execute manual tests, and run automated test suites, across the web and mobile apps
Maintain and improve existing test automation suites (Playwright for web, Maestro for mobile)
Own first-line support: triage incoming issues, reproduce them, and turn field feedback into well-formed tickets
Work closely with Product, Frontend, Backend, and external dev partners
Champion shift-left testing and help developers own more of their test coverage
Maintain and grow the support knowledge base so answers get found before tickets get filed
Help bridge the QA & Support function with the rest of the company

Requirements

3-5 years' experience in software QA / testing, ideally on B2B SaaS products
BS in Computer Science or related field
Working experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Maestro, Selenium), enough to maintain, debug, and improve existing suites
Experience testing both web and mobile applications
Experience in customer-facing support or triage - you can turn a vague field report into a reproducible bug
Familiarity with AI coding assistants or agents, and an interest in using them to work smarter
Comfortable with CI/CD, bug tracking, and test management tools (we use Linear)
Solid grasp of Agile and the software product lifecycle
Works well remotely and collaborating asynchronously across time zones
Professional English, written and spoken
Nice to have: experience with digital twins, modeling physical assets and processes in software
Nice to have: GIS background
Nice to have: experience in solar, construction, or other field-operations industries
Nice to have: startup experience, especially building 0→1 in new markets
