Description
A specialized partner in automotive and consumer financing within a German savings-bank financial group is hiring a Referent Data Science & Reporting (m/w/d). You actively shape bank steering by turning complex data into clear decision bases and developing unified reporting structures and modern BI solutions. You translate business requirements into solid analysis and reporting concepts and drive the evolution of KPI cockpits, dashboards and reporting standards together with internal interfaces.

Responsibilities
Advising and supporting bank steering staff on reporting and analysis issues
Building, unifying and further developing reporting structures and the analysis and reporting tools in use
Defining, aligning and continuously improving best practices and quality standards in reporting
Ensuring consistent, transparent and stakeholder-appropriate reporting for management, business units and other stakeholders
Close collaboration with business departments to capture, prioritize and translate business requirements into concrete reporting solutions
Coordinating and participating in system and integration tests in the reporting and BI environment, and supporting KPI cockpits, dashboards and standard reports
Contributing to continuous improvement of data quality in reporting in close alignment with the data-processing units
Requirements
Completed degree in business informatics, mathematics or economics with an IT focus, or a comparable qualification
Several years of hands-on experience designing and implementing data analytics and BI solutions in banking or financial services
Solid knowledge of BI technologies, ideally Power BI, alternatively Tableau or Qlik, as well as SQL, data models and relational databases
Experience building standardized reporting structures such as management reports, risk reports and KPI cockpits, plus knowledge of banking KPIs and risk metrics
Strong analytical skills, a structured and independent working style, and communication strength with business units and management
Ability to prepare and present complex matters understandably and tailored to the audience
High customer orientation, proactivity and a hands-on mentality
