Description

Senior fullstack developer needed to build digital products that did not exist before, covering delivery from the first line of code to go-live while working directly with clients from Mittelstand hidden champions to PE firms. The developer decides which tech stack fits best and contributes an engineering perspective to product roadmaps and prioritization from the very start of projects. AI is applied where it creates real value, both in the product and in internal workflows.

Responsibilities

Build digital products that did not exist before, deciding which tech stack fits best
Develop software with the team from the first line of code to go-live, working directly with clients
Contribute your engineering perspective to product roadmaps and prioritization from the start of projects
Apply AI where it brings real value in the product and workflows rather than because it is trendy
Full-stack development: develop, test and deploy features end-to-end from frontend to infrastructure
Ensure code quality through reviews, testing and sustainable architecture patterns
Use AI agentic coding rather than vibe-coding where it makes sense

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development, ideally in an agency or as a freelancer
Able to justify a chosen tech stack; that matters more than the actual programming language
Experience with modern web frameworks and cloud infrastructure
AI coding tools and pipelines are part of your toolkit
Able to explain technical concepts so that non-technical people understand them
Language skills: German (C2) and English (C1)
Teamwork: you work a lot with people despite being a coder
