Description
A fintech company provides an Investment API that enables businesses to offer investment products and retirement planning experiences for fintechs and financial institutions. The Senior Fullstack Engineer joins the operational service panel team whose product lets enterprise clients' operations, support and compliance staff handle first-line requests themselves. The role spans building features across a React/TypeScript frontend and Go backend, owning interface security in a regulated space, and shaping agentic operations exposed over MCP. The team ships in weekly cycles with strong autonomy, prioritizing impact, quality and speed when touching client funds.

Responsibilities
Take operational problems from concept to production across React/TypeScript frontend and Go backend services
Own modern interface security including per-client isolated environments, least-privilege access, and Auth0 integrations in a regulated space
Expand the operational surface across internal domains and understand how core systems piece together
Help define software delivery in an AI-enabled company by pushing AI tooling to its limits while staying compliant
Build agentic operations toward exposing the service panel over MCP with strict audit trails
Solve design problems around what an agent can do autonomously versus what requires human intervention
Work in weekly cycles with bi-weekly retrospectives to prioritize high-quality, high-frequency shipping
Figure out what needs building with client context, access, and autonomy instead of a rigid spec
Challenge internal processes that slow down efficiency or shipping speed
Requirements

Deep knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices

True end-to-end ownership across containers, CI/CD pipelines, and relational data modeling
Working understanding of event-driven architectures
Pragmatic approach to engineering with ability to make smart tradeoffs under constraints
Real-world experience using AI tools to drive software engineering workflows
Ability to navigate undefined problems and align other teams without formal authority
Experience with investment products or the fintech domain is a plus
