Build an end-to-end validation pipeline largely from scratch using existing frameworks where possible
Verify component, system integration and application level features for reliability, accuracy and performance
Participate in code and design reviews and provide technical guidance and feedback to team members
Review engineering technical design documents and requirements and advise on how and where to build in testability
Engage in continuous improvement of end-to-end test and validation processes
Increase and improve automated test coverage and contribute to existing tools, frameworks and solutions
Leverage new open source solutions to build new tools that test things in new ways
Improve delivered product quality across the entire platform and applications
Collaborate on determining root causes of production outages and add quality improvements to prevent future outages
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar tools

Requirements

10+ years of experience as an SDET or Backend Developer (combined)
4-5+ years building testing frameworks and tooling for a Cloud SaaS product
Strong debugging skills: spotting design flaws, race conditions and performance bottlenecks in complex architectures
Computer science background or equivalent experience in programming styles, data structures and algorithms
Experience building, validating and maintaining large distributed systems at scale
Solid design and problem-solving skills with passion for engineering excellence, quality, security and performance
Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills across engineering organizations
Experience with Golang, Python, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch or similar technologies — at least one required
Prior experience with building, operating, validating and scaling low-latency internet services
Solid grounding in the technology of at least one cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Exposure to or experience with cybersecurity and intelligence

Conditions

Remote-friendly company with occasional in-person meetings and some travel
High trust environment where team members manage their own time and take holidays as needed
Market leader in compensation and equity awards
Comprehensive physical and mental wellness programs
Competitive vacation and holidays for recharge
