Description

DCS EASYWARE is looking for a Production Engineer / DevOps to work on the client side, ensuring the operational maintenance and the release into production of applications in the accounting scope. The role covers level-3 incident management, release management with XLD/XLR and backup and DRP follow-up on demanding distributed environments. The client is open to experienced production engineering profiles who are autonomous, rigorous and comfortable with complex technical landscapes. The position is based in Paris.

Responsibilities

Maintain critical applications in operational condition
Ensure the management and follow-up of level-3 incidents
Carry out reporting and keep operational documentation up to date
Use deployment and release management tools, notably XLD/XLR, in the context of production releases
Handle application production releases: reception, validation, packaging, installation, and approval of components
Lead or actively participate in project phases
Contribute to DRP tests and backup follow-up
Configure and automate deployments using DevOps tools
Participate in technical obsolescence management

Requirements

Proven experience in IT production and distributed environments
Good command of scheduling tools (Control-M) and monitoring
Skills in scripting (Shell, PowerShell) and automation (Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
Ability to manage level-3 incidents and work cross-functionally with project and business teams
Experience with deployment / release management tools, ideally XLD/XLR
Rigor, autonomy, and service orientation are essential
An ITIL certification is a plus
