Description

Fullstack software engineering internship within the Engineering team, building products and features that improve daily lives of care teams and patients across Europe. The intern will contribute to an AI-powered Operating System managing clinical and administrative activities in a feature team. The stack includes Rails, TypeScript, Java, Python, Kotlin, Swift, and React Native on a fully cloud-native platform. This is a 6-month full-time hybrid internship in Milan starting March 2027.

Responsibilities

Build and own features from design and development to testing and shipping
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers on complex technical challenges
Write clean, efficient code following industry best practices in design, testing, and peer review
Solve real-world problems that enhance patient care and doctor-patient relationships
Explore new tools and technologies including AI and distributed systems
Contribute to a culture of learning and collaboration by sharing knowledge with the team

Requirements

Comfortable coding in multiple languages with AI agents like Claude Code
In the final year of a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Fluent in English for work and collaboration
Driven by curiosity and problem-solving with creative solutions
Thrives in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams and knowledge sharing
Passion for technology and product development keeping the user experience in mind
Eager to learn and work in a team of builders

Conditions

6-month full-time internship starting in March 2027
