Software Engineer Test Infrastructure (m/w/d)

The employer is the IT and digital unit of a large retail group, running infrastructures for its retail divisions and acting as an independent provider of cloud, cyber security, data & AI, communication and workspace services across Europe. The IaaS domain owns the compute, storage and networking primitives on which customers run their workloads, and validating a cloud platform of this scale is a complex distributed-systems engineering challenge rather than a classic QA job. The role sits at the interface of agility and security, designing test architecture, testing frameworks and backend tooling that IaaS teams use to validate their code. The mission is to build the automated foundation proving the infrastructure runs reliably and can be safely deployed to production at any time.
