Description

The company is hiring a React Developer for its internal team to evolve a large self-service kiosk application used by end clients on a touchscreen. The product is not a traditional website: it runs in kiosk mode, communicates in real time with local services that manage device peripherals, and serves several clients, countries and languages from one codebase. The role covers feature development, reusable touch UI components, real-time integrations and code quality practices.

Responsibilities

Develop and evolve banking self-service features from the screen to backend service integration
Build reusable components for touch interfaces: virtual keyboards, forms, multi-step flows and modals
Integrate the interface with local real-time services and kiosk peripherals
Keep the application configurable per client through themes, content and parameters from a single codebase
Ensure internationalization for multiple countries and languages
Contribute to code quality through refactoring, typing, automated tests and peer review
Collaborate with backend, product and support teams to diagnose and resolve production issues

Requirements

3 to 5 years of professional frontend development experience with React, hooks and functional components
Strong command of TypeScript in medium or large applications
State management in React using Context API, useReducer or equivalents
Solid experience with Tailwind CSS, including themes and design tokens
React Router and organizing applications with many screens and multi-step flows
Real-time communication such as WebSockets and handling asynchronous events
Internationalization with i18next, react-i18next or an equivalent solution
Build and quality tools: Vite, npm, ESLint, Prettier and Git
Clear communication and teamwork with openness to give and receive feedback
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
Ability to stay focused under pressure, learn from challenges and adjust the approach
Fluent Portuguese and technical English
