Description

A 6-month design internship at a company building a walking-rewards app with over 16 million users worldwide. The intern owns LiveOps art requests: banners, illustrations and graphics for in-app events, seasonal campaigns and partner offers. The role is explicitly not UI/UX — it focuses on creative illustrated visuals, with a mentor and the Lead Product Designer as tutor, plus daily use of AI tools.

Responsibilities

Create impactful banners and visuals for in-app events, partner offers and seasonal campaigns
Illustrate characters, scenes and backgrounds that fit the app's visual identity
Design graphics for other teams and channels: email, LinkedIn, Facebook and more
Take requests through Linear and work in agile sprints with the design team
Move between Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma to deliver final assets ready for the app
Use AI tools to speed up the creative process and help find new ways to apply them

Requirements

Studying design, illustration, fine arts, video game art or a similar field, with a school able to sign a 6-month internship agreement
A real talent for drawing: characters and scenes with personality, able to adapt style to an existing visual identity
Intermediate level in Figma, Illustrator and Photoshop
A portfolio with illustration and graphic design work
Eager to learn, open to feedback and comfortable with a dynamic pace
Comfortable working in English
Nice to have: concept art or video game art projects
Nice to have: motion design skills in After Effects, Rive or similar
Nice to have: experience with generative AI image tools
Nice to have: some experience with Linear or agile ways of working

Conditions

6-month internship with a flexible schedule that fits around classes
A day-to-day mentor in the design team and the Lead Product Designer as tutor
Your illustrations go live in front of millions of users from day one
International team based in Barcelona and Paris
Offices in the heart of Barcelona, hybrid work format
