Description

A Product Manager is sought to own GP, a back-office platform for administrative and accounting management of investment portfolios, end to end. The role spans vision and roadmap, client discovery, regulatory intake, packaging, migration programmes and backlog delivery with distributed squads. Over the next three years the product opens new markets and GAAPs, evolves its business model around AI usage and modernises UX, automation, reporting and deployments.

Responsibilities

Own vision and roadmap for the functional line across module packs, arbitrated against platform modernisation and security
Run discovery with engaged clients through client governance, product reviews and thought leadership committees
Define the standard-versus-bespoke line and converge client-specific developments back into the standard
Handle packaging, module scope and commercial enablement with Sales, Presales and Professional Services
Turn jurisdictional and regulatory change into a prioritised, dated and communicated roadmap
Manage migration and adoption programmes including client sequencing and incentives
Write and defend specifications and run prioritisation with Architects, Business Analysts, Developers and QA across France and Tunisia
Own product-side KPIs and artefacts within the R&D engineering maturity framework used in client and investor due diligence

Requirements

7–10 years in financial software with depth in investment accounting and fund administration
Hands-on knowledge of back-office operations: NAV production, portfolio valuation, P&L, accounting entries, corporate actions and regulatory reporting
Ability to hold functional discussions with fund accountants and back-office officers without an interpreter
Regulatory and multi-jurisdiction product thinking with non-negotiable legal deadlines and local variants
Delivering at least one major functional or regulatory programme from specification through to live client adoption
Executive and client-facing communication in both French and English for committees and due diligence contexts
Pragmatism to decide fast in a mid-sized fast-moving environment where coordination is most of the work
Agile delivery with distributed teams: Scrum at scale, Jira, written clarity and PMO discipline
Valuable: leading a platform or infrastructure transition such as version convergence, on-premise to cloud, container-native
Valuable: reconciliation, exception management or data quality products
Valuable: data warehouse and reporting products for finance
Valuable: AI-assisted engineering or AI-assisted code transformation in a product context
