Indeed

Description

Senior Data Analyst role covering a subscription-based mobile gaming ecosystem with a catalog of 100+ games and a central discovery app. The analyst partners day-to-day with Product, Game Teams, Growth, and LiveOps to explore player behavior and turn data into shared understanding. Work spans retention and cross-game journey analysis, experimentation, and dashboards teams actually use. The position is permanent, full-time, hybrid in Barcelona with a remote option in the CET time zone.

Responsibilities

Explore how players discover games, engage with content, move across the catalog, and decide to stay or leave
Surface data insights that improve retention and long-term player value
Look beyond single games to understand how the whole catalog works and how titles contribute to engagement
Analyze non-linear funnels, recommendations, and cross-promotion to improve the central app experience
Design and analyze A/B tests with product and game teams, share results openly, and iterate quickly
Communicate findings clearly so teams and leaders understand what happened and why it matters
Build and maintain dashboards that give teams visibility into subscriber and game health
Collaborate with other analysts, data scientists, and engineers on deeper analytical projects
Support a data-literate culture, helping colleagues become more confident with data, metrics, and experimentation

Requirements

Several years working in data analytics, product analytics, or a similar role, ideally with subscription products, games, or consumer apps
Advanced SQL and solid R/Python skills for exploratory analysis and statistical work
Hands-on experience designing and analyzing A/B tests; good understanding of applied statistics
Bayesian and sequential testing experience is a plus, not a requirement
Comfortable building clear, useful dashboards in tools like Looker, Metabase, Periscope or similar
Product and player mindset, able to think at both individual game and portfolio level
Clear, inclusive communicator able to explain insights to different audiences
Pragmatic and impact-focused, balancing rigor with speed
Collaborative by nature, enjoys helping teammates, asking questions, and learning from others
