Description

A Swiss SaaS scale-up building an agentic platform that removes manual work from finance and operations processes for 550+ enterprise customers is hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer. The role joins a 10-engineer Platform Team that owns shared services, APIs, the data access layer, and the design system behind the product. The engineer builds and runs the core Go backend service end-to-end, from APIs and persistence through the React/TypeScript UI to production, including observability and incident analysis.

Responsibilities

Design, build and evolve the core APIs behind document processing, approval workflows, administration and analytics
Own the persistence layer with isolated per-tenant MySQL databases, typed repositories and shared type-safe querying
Extend cross-tenant capabilities so customers with many subsidiaries can manage users, permissions and documents in one place
Own email document ingestion and outbound email services including the audit trail and its UI
Turn manual SSO, SCIM and email setups into migration tools and admin UIs customers can run themselves
Join onboarding calls with customer IT teams and project managers and turn what you learn into better tooling
Own it end-to-end from the Go service through the React UI to production, including tracing, metrics and incident analysis
Build and run the core backend service covering APIs, persistence, email, user provisioning and cross-tenant capabilities
Own one core area end-to-end in the first year, from the Go service to the customer using it

Requirements

4+ years of software engineering experience, with most of that time building and operating backend systems in production
2+ years of professional Go experience writing services that run in production, not side projects
Designed a backend service or API that other teams depended on and kept it reliable as usage grew
Align with product, integration and infrastructure teams and explain technical trade-offs to people who aren't engineers
Improve existing production systems step by step and know when a rewrite isn't worth it
Strong fundamentals in type systems, composition, testing and clean architecture, comfortable in a codebase built on functional patterns
Fullstack where it counts: build admin UIs on the components and design system maintained by frontend experts
Think in products, translate business problems into precise specifications and stay responsible for what ships after it goes live
Strong plus: experience with distributed systems, Kubernetes, Temporal or cloud infrastructure
Strong plus: experience with user provisioning (SCIM) and SSO (OIDC)
Strong plus: experience running multi-tenant systems
Strong plus: domain knowledge in ERP, finance, procurement or supply chain processes, or German language skills

Conditions

Full-time employment
Ownership of visible outcomes that decide how fast enterprise customers go live
Impact at scale: every improvement multiplies across all product teams and 20,000+ daily users
Senior scope from day one, leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers on a growing team
